68 Sound is lead by Rob Grable. A freelance audio engineer, Rob is a producer, audio engineer (a licensed Pro Tools engineer), VO talent & musician. After graduating from Georgia State University and then from Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts in Orlando FL, Rob worked at Crosstown Audio in Atlanta, a post production recording studio from ’92 to ’98. At Crosstown, Rob worked with Brandon Wade who taught him listening and engineering skills and Jon Aaron who taught him project management and client skills.
During his time there, Rob and Nick Ketter won an Emmy Award for their work on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s children’s series Salsa. They also recorded, edited and mixed Will the Circle Be Unbroken, a radio series for Public Radio International about the civil rights struggle in the south which aired on National Public Radio and won a Peabody Award. Then Rob left Crosstown to work as a freelance audio editor/mixer working for Turner Broadcasting, Georgia Power and finally settling in as the chief audio engineer at IBM’s Digital Video Solutions production studio in Atlanta. A BMI member, Rob co-wrote and produced six music projects (CD’s) for the American Music Company/Westar, a production music library. His music has been used in many broadcast TV programs, cable programs and radio commercials.
